Last month, Laurus Ryecroft students took to the stage for three fantastic nights of Annie. As we look back over the Easter break, we are delighted to share some photos from a school production that will be remembered very fondly.

From the first scene to the final bow, the show was full of energy, talent and heart, and it was a joy to see so many students play their part in bringing it to life.

The cast gave brilliant performances on stage, while the production team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. Our orchestra also played a huge part in the success of the show, helping to bring every moment to life across all three evenings.

The Performing Arts Department could not be prouder of what the students achieved. From the earliest rehearsals, they approached the production with enthusiasm, commitment and real professionalism.

Putting on a production like Annie is never the work of just one group, and this really was a whole-school effort.

We would like to say a huge thank you once again to every student who took part in the show, to the staff who supported it in the lead-up and during performance week, and to the audiences who came along to cheer everyone on.

We hope you enjoy looking through the photos and reliving a show that is sure to stay with us ‘Tomorrow’ and for many days to come!
