Exam Contingency Date Information – Summer 2026

JCQ diarise contingency dates in case of the need to postpone an exam in the event of any national events or incidents.  If this happens, exams will be re-arranged for a later date to allow all students an equal and fair chance.  Students must be available to sit exams all day on Wednesday, 24 June 2026.

Equipment for exams

In Year 9, all students are expected to bring 2 black pens to their Languages’ exams.

In Year 11, all students are expected to bring a scientific calculator and the following equipment in a clear pencil case to all their exams (including internal examinations):

  • 2 black pens
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Eraser
  • Compass
  • Protractor

These items can be purchased using ParentPay. Students should contact their Head of Year or the Mathematics department if they are having trouble obtaining the above equipment.

Information about internal examinations is communicated to students in school and sent out to parents/carers by email. Individual student timetables and seating for both internal and external examinations can be found on the Exam Timetable section of the MCAS App and on the Student Portal.
