This week, ten of our anti bullying ambassadors had the chance to take part in the Diana Award’s anti-bullying ambassador programme.

The main aim of the programme is to engage young people, parents/carers and teachers to change the attitudes, behaviour and culture of bullying by helping build skills and confidence to address different situations, both online and offline.

Our ambassadors attended a full day’s training ran by the Diana Award’s anti-bullying experts, where they took part in a mixture of discussions, activities and games as well as working as a team to build their own anti-bullying campaign; one they will begin to deliver here at Laurus Ryecroft.

The students showed respect, maturity and teamwork throughout the day and they were proud to represent our school at such a prestigious event. We look forward to seeing all the exciting work they have in store for our school, starting with hosting whole year group assemblies in the coming weeks.
