Just before October half term, 27 Year 11 students, accompanied by Mr Crompton, Mr Booth and Miss Pinguey, visited the Bay of Naples for a Geography enrichment trip. Over four days, they explored the dramatic coastline of Capri, hiked up Mount Vesuvius — mainland Europe’s only active volcano — toured the historic ruins of Pompeii, and took part in a hands-on gelato-making experience in Sorrento. All of this was enjoyed under clear blue skies and warm temperatures, and it’s safe to say that everyone had a fantastic time!
